What is Offgrid?
Offgrid is an offline AI translation app for iPhone and iPad. It supports text translation, photo text recognition and translation, two-way conversations, favorites and translation history.
Can I translate without an internet connection?
Yes. The translation model is built into the app. Text and photo translation work offline. To use supported voice input offline, download the required Apple speech recognition resources in advance.
Does Offgrid upload my translations?
Translation content is processed on your device, without being uploaded to a developer-operated translation server. History is stored locally. See the privacy policy for details about Apple services and device backups.
Which devices are supported?
Offgrid requires iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later. Voice feature availability depends on your device and language.
Is Offgrid free?
